The most common money waste in AI isn't picking the wrong tool — it's paying for three at once "to be covered". A single general assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) covers writing, analysis, images-good-enough, and code-good-enough for most people.
Add a specialist only when you feel the ceiling: you're generating images daily and they're never quite right → image tool. You're coding every day → coding tool. The ceiling is obvious when you hit it; if you haven't noticed it, it hasn't happened.
And revisit quarterly — this market moves fast, and cancelling is allowed. The quiz re-scores against current data every time you take it.
